Fair Pricing

Everyone is looking for the best deal. We are all guilty of this at one point or another. However I bet at one point or another, we learned the meaning of the term "you get what you pay for." Our pricing has been reviewed by groomers (some master groomers) nationwide and has been labeled as "fair" yet "competitive" with the industry standards in mind by these peers within our field. Just like any service, there is going to be someone cheaper and someone more costly. Although we try our utmost to stay within our base pricing (we won’t charge if there is no need) additional charges may apply for pets with little to no grooming experience, extremely difficult handling requirements, & extremely matted coats, (puppies/seniors may be $10 more). Example: If we went to your work place and asked you to perform your job while making you work twice as hard, for twice as long, with the assistance of a fellow co-worker, and possibly endanger your physical well being; would you or your boss charge us more? With perspective in mind we need to price accordingly based on the services provided. Far too often service providers set low pricing not in direct reflection of those particular industries standards. Which may work for them individually, but it affects others within the same field. Example we had a 130+ lb long coated dog come in for a quote, the pet parent said he was used to paying $80.00 flat for a good bath and brush. It would have taken several employees and 5+ hours to complete with our standards in mind. As a dog with that coat type would require an in depth hand blow dry so no moisture is left on the skin, which can cause bacteria and infection. Within that time slot we could do several smaller dogs gaining equal to or more wages for our employees to support them and their families and overall our small business. We do not cut corners for lower price points / to over book, we want what’s best for your pets health and pride ourselves in our in depth quality services. All the pets we are entrusted to care for receive a customized in depth bath based on their unique skin and coat needs with all organic products. Your pet is unique and their grooming services should be too. Each pet (more so with dogs whom have full coats / thick fur) also receive a hand blow dry, this is crucial to an overall quality haircut as this technique allows the coat to lay naturally to help the groomer preform a more detailed groom. It also alleviates the risk of moisture being left on the skin which can cause irritation/ skin issues. All full services also include a nail trim, we choose to dremel the nails as it is safer and has a better finishing quality (rounded.) And ear cleaning. Checking and expressing anal glands is included in fees (upon request.) We do have additional fees all in which again are industry standard. Potential additional fees are provided in depth on our website and in our contracts in which all pet parents sign upon their rascals first spa day with us. Although we try not to charge additional amounts, at times we have to as we need our pricing to reflect the time and work / service provided. We try our best to communicate these fees upon drop off or we try to call after the pet is in our care, if we feel a fee needs to be added. We don't charge fees just to be "fee happy." We value your business and are honored to be the ones you chose to pamper your rascal(s) however, please respect the work we do. We have policies implemented for quality services and safety in mind. We hear "no other groomer/ salon does that/ has that rule" a lot; perhaps not in our area, but no we aren't the only ones. We decided to open our salon to provide more personable services to pets and pet parents. To change our industry for the better. As of now the grooming industry is unregulated meaning anyone can pick up a pair of shears and advertise pet grooming, with none to little skill set. There are groomers out there whom we admire for their grooming skill sets, we can be better, we know there's always more to learn... but we also know we are safe, ethical and fair. We are certified, licensed and insured and taken many classes within our field pertaining to our profession. We are happily supported by the cities of Wildomar and Murrieta and by over 15 local veterinarians.
We have a variety of discounts, our most popular is our re book program. Thank you for supporting our small business and the families to those we employ.
