Grooming is a delicate process and with all our services we take extra precautions in safety. We use tear free organic facial products for all pets in our care, however at times we can't predict if a pet is going to have a reaction to one of our products. While gentle massaging products around the pets face we do our best to not get any cleaning solution in the eyes, however it can't always be prevent. Also, while grooming around a dogs face and eyes we gently blow / move / guide cut hair / debris away from the dogs open eyes. However as careful as we are, this can't always be avoided. If we notice any eye discomfort while in our care as a result of hair / debris in the eye we will notify you and use a sterile eye cleansing solution. In most cases a quick rinse of the eye alleviates the discomfort instantly. We have an eye for detail and we are very attentive to our guests, and are always sure to catch any accidents such as this, however it unfortunately comes with the territory. Although rare this is a possibility when having your pet(s) groomed. Some pets will rub, scoot and even scratch their eye if irritated thus causing more harm to the eye than the original mild irritant (hair / debris / product) some pets have been know to self inflict superficial ulcers to the eye in the event of eye irritates after grooming. As mentioned these incidents are rare but are a potential risk when getting pets groomed. NRSPS is not to be held responsible for any eye related vet bills proceeding after grooming services.
